Announced Quiz

On Thursday, March 6, there will be a quiz on Psalm 8:4-5, Judges 21:25, and Hosea 4:2.

March 4: Sin’s History

After prayer, the class took some time to re-organize itself.  A second monarch was elected and the class split into two kingdoms.  After this tribal time, we reviewed the history of sin and its consequences to humanity and creation.  Tomorrow we’ll review how our personal sin is a part of the history of sin.

March 3: The Monarchy

This morning in class, the students decided they wanted to remove the class judge and create a class monarchy.  The class elected a queen to take over the class.  Once elected, the queen removed the class prophet.  The tribes were adjusted and the class had to determine how it would take shape under a queen.  The class time was spent learning some important lessons on leadership and organization.

Feb 28: Scripture Search

This morning I was at Aiken Regional for chaplains training and was not with the class.  Mrs. Miller supervised the class.  The tribes each had a “Scripture Search” assignment, which involved looking up the verses on the fall of the angels and of humanity.  It’s important that the students understand the biblical basis of the stories and their truths.

Discussion Continued

Today after prayer, we discussed the rebellion of the fallen angels.  After this discussion we looked at the fall of humanity in the Garden of Eden.  In particular, we emphasized that Adam and Eve were the “leaders of creation” and the “parents of human nature.”  Before the Fall, there was harmony and peace in the person and in creation.  After the Fall, there was disturbance and noise.
